Building a future of work that’s fair for everyone. is a social impact venture of Checkr.  We believe that an arrest or conviction on your record shouldn’t be a life sentence to unemployment.

Working together with business leaders, policy makers and mission partners we’re advancing Fair Chance employment through proven research, proximate leadership, and innovative tools.

We hope you will join us in building a future of work that’s fair, inclusive, and equitable for everyone.

In a world where 80 million Americans are burdened by arrest records—a number anticipated to grow to 100 million by 2030—the need for systemic change has never been more urgent. These individuals face more than 44,000 legal and societal barriers that severely limit access to employment, housing, and the opportunity to thrive. This is not just a crisis; it is a national call to action that is committed to answering.

At, we believe in the transformative power of livable wage employment to transform lives and restore communities. Our mission is rooted in the idea that everyone deserves the opportunity to work and to thrive. Through advocacy, grant making, and thought leadership, we are dedicated to dismantling the barriers to livable wage employment for those with arrest records. By supporting educational initiatives and Fair Chance hiring practices, we aim to not only change individual lives but also to shift the narrative and stigma associated with arrest records.

The vision that drives us is one that imagines inclusivity and equity for all, where access to employment is not a privilege but a right that reflects the true diversity of our communities. We are working to build a future where a past mistake does not decide one’s future, and where everyone can contribute to and benefit from a thriving, equitable economy.

I am personally moved by the stories of resilience and determination that we encounter daily at These stories fuel our mission to build a fairer future of work, one job at a time. But we cannot do this work alone. It requires a collective effort—a movement of businesses, policymakers, thought leaders and community members who are willing to stand up for the principle that everyone deserves access to livable wage employment.

As we look to the future, I invite you to join us in this vital work. Your support, whether through partnership, advocacy, or action, will help us continue to break down barriers and build pathways to prosperity for millions of individuals. Together, we can create a more inclusive, equitable, and just society.
